Already in his childhood Michael David Pate discovered his love for moving pictures. He staged film scenes, picked up audio cassettes, and at the age of fifteen began recording films on an analog camera and cutting them at the same time. In the meantime, he has written numerous screenplays and supported various film productions in several departments until he landed his cinema debut in 2013 with a “Like”. With “potato salad” he landed a success in the German cinema world.
Michael currently lives with his wife and four children in Heide Holstein and is sporadically based in Berlin and Los Angeles.
